RIDE: Mobility Solutions 8.30

RIDE offers micro-mobility and e-mobility solutions, currently providing e-Bike sharing services in Riga city.

1. Open RIDE app: Download the RIDE App from your phone's App Store. Once downloaded, review the brief introduction and register to begin using the services.
2. Find RIDE e-Bike on the map: Locate the nearest e-Bike on the map within our App. Ensure the battery is adequately charged for your intended ride. Approach the e-Bike, with the option to reserve it for 3 minutes.
3. Scan or input the code: To activate a RIDE e-Bike, stand beside it and scan the QR code or manually input the unique code. The e-Bike will power up, displaying its main screen.
4. Start riding: Raise the side support and press the “P” button on the left-hand combination switch to exit parking mode and enter “Ready” mode. Select cycling mode “1” (15 km/h) – “2” (20 km/h) – “3” (25 km/h). Initiate movement by turning the right-hand power handlebar. Pedal when required and engage cruise mode by pressing “C” on the right-hand combination switch to maintain a consistent speed.
5. Where to ride: Travel on designated bicycle paths like a regular cyclist, or use road sections if bicycle paths are unavailable. Utilize pedestrian sidewalks when road conditions are congested. Prioritize bicycle paths wherever feasible, while always showing consideration for pedestrians and fellow road users.
6. Slowing down: Apply the rear brake by pressing the left-hand lever and/or use the front brake by activating the right-hand lever.
7. Find where to park: Refer to the green zone marker on the app's map. Position the e-Bike on the sidewalk, at a bike rack, or any level surface that doesn't impede pedestrians or other road traffic.
8. Finish the ride: Once you've parked the e-Bike correctly, conclude the ride within the app and upload a photo. The e-Bike's display will turn off, followed by a confirming beep, signaling the proper conclusion of your journey.
